Meet Lindsey, a Senior Account Manager on GDT’s Resourcing Services team who’s been with the company for nearly five years. With a collaborative spirit and strategic mindset, Lindsey plays a key role in connecting clients with the right talent and driving customer success.
How long have you been with GDT, and what does your role entail?
Lindsey: I have been with GDT for nearly 5 years as a sales specialist then senior account manager on the resourcing services team. I meet with customers, account managers, and other teams to provide resources that meet their needs, as well as business development and market intelligence.
Can you describe your team, your team’s role here at GDT, and the dynamics of your team?
Lindsey: Our team has a presence at HQ and across the United States. I view external clients and the Account Manager team as our team’s customers. We are an extension of the sales team with the goal of helping customers complete projects with the right resources from GDT. We learn our customers’ needs, then find the individual(s) they are looking for technologically and culturally to help achieve their goals.
Our team is collaborative, creative, hardworking, and supportive. We want to be known as a group that drives customer satisfaction through our combined efforts, not just our individual roles.
What has been your most memorable project or achievement here?
Lindsey: I’ve been fortunate to be a part of many projects, but I think of when I partnered with Chris and Joel to support a large national retailer. It was evident from the start that the customer needed a flexible approach, so we tailored our solutions to their needs. We put together a team of resources to support their network in a traditional approach and put together a managed staffing offering.
I got to work with a lot of talented and smart people (like our engineers, SDM, AM, operations team, and many more) across the company to make this project a success.
Is there anything specific you look forward to in 2025 for your team’s goals & initiatives?
Lindsey: It is a really interesting economic time, so we see a lot of uncertainty without our customers. We are sought out as advisors on the market, which helps us build a different type of rapport with customers. Our team has really evolved since I first started, and we are really focusing on deepening our understanding of our current customers while getting creative on how we can target new business.
Who or what inspires you in your career?
Lindsey: I would say my faith plays a foundational role in how I approach my career and personal life. My hope is to serve others and build others up with integrity, humility, and compassion. I think your influence isn’t just about your title but your character and the difference you can make to those around you. When I’m at work or home with the family, I strive to be fully present and the best version of myself.

Where do you see yourself in five years?
Lindsey: I am excited about the direction that GDT is going, and our team is in step with that. I hope to take on new and interesting projects and leadership opportunities and continue bringing business to GDT.
I also hope we continue to grow our women in technology group to foster an empowering environment, relate to new clients, and be seen in a positive light. As a new-ish mom, I am passionate about women having both a fulfilling career and a family life.
What advice would you give to someone new to the industry or GDT?
Lindsey: I would say always approach work with curiosity. The industry changes quickly, and you need to be open to new changes, adopt new ways of working, and learn new things. You also need to be able to ask good questions and find people to learn from.
I also feel integrity is important for building trust with clients and colleagues. Finally, I remember someone telling me in my early career, ‘Stop saying you should or need to do this; just go do it!’

What aspects of our organizational vision, mission, or values resonate with you?
Lindsey: Collaboration and transparency make our jobs run more efficiently. I think we are much better when we show up as a team and can bring all of our skills to the table for a client. One of my majors was entrepreneurship, so I appreciate that GDT encourages the entrepreneurial spirit and innovation.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Lindsey: Both of our families are outside DFW, so we prioritize travel to see them. My husband and I also have a bucket list, which is geared towards sporting events or visiting all 50 states together. We are excited for the World Cup in 2026, the Ryder Cup in Ireland in 2027, a family trip to Hawaii, and taking the kids to Disney!
Tell us more about yourself outside of work. What are your hobbies and interests?
Lindsey: Outside of work, I spend time with my husband Kurt, baby, toddler, dog, family, and friends. For my personal hobbies, I am a former dancer, so if time allows, I would love to be in a dance class or dance around the house. I also love cooking, golfing, cycling, watching sports, going to musicals, and reading. I plan to take pottery and maybe cake decorating!
Thank you, Lindsey, for sharing a little about yourself and for the role you play in making GDT a great place to work. Learn more about GDT’s vibrant culture and explore our career options by visiting Life at GDT.
