As set forth in our Terms of Use, this Privacy Policy applies to your use of the Site, interactive features, widgets, applications, content or downloads that we make available through the Site and of our associated services that post the Terms of Use (collectively referred to herein as the “Services”)

It governs the manner in which General Datatech, L.P. (“GDT”), collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from and about you from any and all web sites hosted on the gdt.com domain, GDT mobile apps, and GDT bots (collectively, “Services”).

How we collect information

We may collect personal identification information from you in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when you visit our websites, use our mobile apps, utilize our bots, register with our Services, place an order, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available from our Services. For example, you may choose to voluntarily submit to us, as appropriate, your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, account information, and password. You can refuse to supply such personal identification information, except that it may prevent you from accessing certain features of our Services. GDT, our subsidiaries, and affiliates may collect and use your personal information for the following purposes:

Our Services may contain content that links to the sites and services of our partners, suppliers, advertisers, sponsors, licensors, and other third parties. We do not control the content or links that appear on these sites and are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from our Services.  In addition, these sites or services, including their content and links, may be constantly changing. These sites and services may have their own privacy policies and customer service policies. Browsing and interaction on any other website, including websites which link to our Services, is subject to that website’s own terms and policies.

Children

You must be 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) or older to use the Services. We do not knowingly collect information online from children under 13 years of age. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected personal information online from children under 13 years of age without verification of parental consent, we will endeavor promptly to remove such information from your systems.

Consent to Transfer, Processing and Storage of Personal Information

GDT may transfer your personal information to GDT in the U.S., to any GDT subsidiary or affiliate worldwide, or to third parties that are located in various countries around the world. By using our Services or providing any personal information to us, where applicable law permits, you consent to the transfer, processing, and storage of such information outside of your country of residence where data protection standards may be different.

GDT, our subsidiaries, and affiliates have the discretion to update this Privacy Policy at any time. When we do, we will post changes to this page and revise the updated date at the bottom of this page. If the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice. We encourage you to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this Privacy Policy periodically and become aware of modifications.
