GDT Webinar Series – How to Fail at Security? Reserve Your Spot

Employee Spotlight: Rohit Yadav

At GDT, employees are the cornerstone of our success. That’s why we like to highlight the remarkable people who comprise GDT. In this month’s Employee Spotlight, we’re delighted to feature Rohit Yadav, a Logistics Specialist based in India who talks about his role and what he appreciates about life at GDT, and even shares a few fun facts.

How long have you been with GDT, and what does your role entail?

Rohit: I have been part of the GDT family since May 2022. In my role as a Logistics Specialist, I support the warehouse team by focusing on crucial data analytics and implementing process improvements. These efforts help enhance overall productivity and efficiency within the organization.

What do you enjoy most about working at GDT?

Rohit: Our highly accessible and supportive leadership team stands out to me. Their open-door policy encourages employees to voice their inquiries, big or small, fostering an atmosphere of growth, both personally and professionally.

Can you share an accomplishment that you’re particularly proud of?

Rohit: Upon assuming my responsibilities, I recognized the importance of enhancing our data archiving and analysis processes. To address this need, we initiated an Aged Inventory Reporting project, which has since evolved through countless iterations to adapt to our requirements. This continuous improvement has allowed us to make more strategic and well-informed decisions, benefiting our overall performance.

Who is one of your role models?

Rohit: I have a profound admiration for my father. As an esteemed member of the Army, his life has been a source of inspiration. His profound influence has led me to envision my own path in life, where I can not only emulate his actions but also contribute to the greater good of our nation.

Where is your favorite place to travel?

Rohit: Norway or Iceland to witness the Aurora Borealis.

Do you have a motto or personal mantra that you live by?

Rohit: Stop depending on others for your happiness.

What advice would you give your younger self?

Rohit: It’s okay to fail, and it’s okay to fall, but always remember that failures will leave you with a life lesson.

If you could meet anyone in the world, past or present, who would it be?

Rohit: Maharishi Valmiki

Is there anything you are currently loving and want to share?

Rohit: I love watching documentaries, including World War II in Color and a wildlife series narrated by David Attenborough.
