This week at Cisco’s annual partner conference, General Datatech (GDT) was honored with Cisco’s Technology Excellence Partner of the Year: Service Provider, Capital Partner of the Year (South), and Global Enterprise Segment (GES) Partner of the Year (South) for its innovation, leadership and best practice as a Cisco business partner

NetApp is continually disrupting itself, said John Woodall, vice president of engineering west at General Datatech, a Dallas-based solution provider and longtime NetApp channel partner.

“Spot has AI and machine learning in the platform to predict further in advance when a spot instance will disappear,” Woodall told CRN. “It understands the customer application and resources needed and will use on-demand, reserved and spot instances to lower the costs.”

GDT, a Cisco Gold Partner, announced today that it has obtained the Cisco Master Networking certification, joining numerous high-level Cisco certifications and specializations that GDT holds.

“Hybrid and multicloud will be the dominant architecture in the near future,” said John Woodall, vice president of engineering at General Datatech, a worldwide IT solutions provider and network integrator.

NetApp recently showed off the latest permutation of its partner program, promising to make it easier for channel partners of all types to better profit from working with the company.
