Dallas, TX – Dallas-based technology integrator GDT today announced Tom Lutz has been named Director of Sales—East, effective immediately. As Director of Sales for the eastern United States, Lutz will be focused on recruiting, training and developing a high-performing sales team focused primarily on new business development. Lutz will design and implement a strategic plan to meet GDT’s aggressive revenue and profitability goals.
Prior to GDT, Lutz was at CompuCom for 8 years. While there, he held vice president roles responsible for sales territories and strategic accounts. Before that, Lutz worked for 10 years at Zones, a technology solutions provider, where he was responsible for its strategic sales direction nationwide.
Having worked in IT solutions for over 20 years, Lutz brings more than his vast sales experience to the table. He’s also led teams responsible for implementation, service delivery, engineering, solutions architecture and program management.
Lutz holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Drexel University in Accounting and Marketing.
