David Watkins

David Watkins is an industry veteran who has held various leadership positions within both OEMs and IT solution providers. David joined GDT in 2022 as vice president of GDT’s Software and Support Services organization, where he leads an established team of industry-leading specialists who partner with customers to navigate and optimize technology providers’ buying programs and deliver ongoing operational support of their technology estate. David’s team also includes client services managers who manage and ensure the hygiene of customer technology subscriptions across the lifecycle term. Outside of work, David enjoys golf, reading, following the Tar Heels, and spending quality time with his family.
