Dallas, TX – Dallas-based technology and systems integrator GDT today announced that Adnan Khan has been named Director of Hybrid Cloud and DevOps, effectively immediately. In his new role, Khan will provide technical leadership to the architecture, design and management of GDT’s software development practice, and expand on its many cloud-related initiatives.
Khan has extensive, hands-on software development leadership experience utilizing lean practices, such as Agile/Scrum. With over 15 years of experience working in high performance distributed practices, Khan is particularly skilled in the following IT technologies: Wireless WAN (CDMA and GSM), Storage Area Networking (SAN), Network Attached Storage (NAS), Android- based applications, Location-based services, Cloud Computing, SaaS, Blockchain, Cryptocurrency and the Internet of Things (IoT) for both consumers and the enterprise market.

Prior to joining GDT, Khan held several senior-level management positions in the IT industry, and has overseen many on- and offshore teams that consistently delivered complex software solutions, from inception to deployment. Many of those solutions are currently being used by millions of customers of some of the most noteworthy wireless carriers in the world.
Khan holds a MBA from the University of California at Irvine’s Paul Merage School of business, and a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Pakistan’s Karachi University. In addition, Khan holds several IT-related patents.
